Guy's its normally u can't join the server , every server is down atm.

When nff comes home and he will make it then , it isn't easy to put up a server right now ,
1.8 is probably still buggy , even more for servers.

I've already found a bug in 1.8!!! D:

When you place a painting on a wall, if there are blocks directly above it the painting goes very dark as if the lighting thinks there is no light around.

On the plus side, the new lighting looks sexy, and the torches give off a wonderful warm glow, and the mood gives an eiree blue glow.

And the first time I saw an Enderman it scared me shitless, although they are very weak.

well my first enderman was in a cave and not very hard and it made zombie sounds so it was very anticlimactic. and there will only be 3 strongholds in each map till 1.9 so should we hold off on new map till then as strongholds will be fun and i want lots of em

oh and the new food system kinda sucks with the hole eating and some gives health some give stamina

Personally I like the new food system, as it is constanty healing you rather than you having to carry around half an inventory of food and food stacking is cool too as its much easier to cook and store the food.

i like the eating animations and the chest the lighting is still rather buggy lol i cant wait to mess around online going to be funny think we should have eldermen farms lol

I cant find any bugs with the chest? and I like the food because like sky said its always healing and food is a lot easier because you can get it from nearly all mobs in the game. I cant find any towns yet thought but apparently notch put them near spawn so there easy to find.

no there isn't any bugs with the chests just if you put them near walls they go really dark lol even if you have light around them

on top is a missive pathway that I was using to try and find a village but I still cant!!! but I did find an abandoned mine and have loads of iron ingots and full iron armour

Ender Pearls can't be rare, I've done the same as you and got two pearls as well.

I hope they add some awesome sort of use for them in 1.9...

I built a nice house too, and I collected a load of iron and coal, and guess what... On my way home I gey mugged by 4 Creepers and an angry spider, and I loose everything.

Has anyone found an abandoned mine or stronghold yet? I've found a small ravine, but it didnt have much in it as far as I could tell.

I've finally found a town and a found an abandoned mine! ender pearls make it so you can et closer to endermen without making them angry (yer I know it sucks ) but another use could be added. I also found out that accidentally over filling a chest will crash your minecraft lol but that might only be if you put stuff in using the shift key
